090 Chest -- Coat of Many Colors

This full size chest is a knockout. (Also known as the "Crayon Chest".)
All parts are made from plantation grown genuine Mahogany. The mitered corner joints are strengthened with full length splines. Even the individual "tiles" are made of 3/16" thick mahogany painted with three layers of milk paint then the underlying colors partially exposed by sanding and rubbing. The multi-colored tiles are on all four sides of the chest as well as the top and underside of the lid panel.
On the inside there is a shallow sliding tray. The bottom of the chest is lined with Spanish Cedar. The hinged lid has a stay to prevent accidental slamming.
Outside dimensions: 32" x 17" x  20' high.
